Linnéa Sundfær Casserly is a Norwegian singer and recorder player dividing her time between Helsinki and Oslo. During her studies she specialised in baroque and contemporary music.
Linnéa has played solo recitals in Norway, England, Macedonia, Germany and Malta. For the last 10 years she has worked closely with Norwegian composer Kristin Bolstad performing site specific works for voice. Some of the pieces can be heard on the CD Tomba Sonora. She is a popular soprano soloist in baroque and classical choir works such as Messiah, the Bach passions, Mozart’s Requiem etc.
Also close to Linnéa’s heart is contemporary vocal and instrumental music. She is working with composers from all over Europe premiering new pieces for recorder and voice. This also includes the project “Hittiparit” with theorboe player Kaisamaija Uljas where the two get new compositions written based on popular baroque tunes.
